The main aim is to bring the community together and offer opportunities for residents of all ages and incomes to enjoy a celebration of arts, culture and heritage events within their local area. Each year the Committee seeks to bring a mix of professional and local talent to the village and venues in the surrounding areas.

With the support of local businesses, the parish councils and local people the Festival has gone from strength to strength and has now become an established and keenly anticipated part of village life. It is a registered Charity (Number 1127698).
