LLOYDS BANK in Stockton Heath is finally closing its doors and is scheduled to move next March due to the 'changing way
We will sadly be saying goodbye to the Lloyds Bank in the well-known town Stockton Heath next March as to the 'changing way' Lloyd customers are using its services.
Head office have confirmed the number of personal customers using the current branch based on London Road, is reducing by around 27 per cent every year.
The branch will shut on March 16th 2017
A representive spoke: "This branch has been identified for closure because of the changing way customers choose to bank with us, which has resulted in customers using it less often"
The majority of customers now regularly use alternative branches or use other ways to bank, such as online and telephone banking, to complete their banking needs."
"We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and have informed customers of the closest alternative branches."
The branch has been reported to have 55 regularly weekly personal and business customers.
Tenants using the services in the village will have their accounts realigned to the town centre branch Warrington, on Horse market Street, which is just less than 1.5 miles away.
There will be 'no other impact' to the way they do manage their accounts.
