Warrington's Got talent is making headlines in the town in its search to find the most talented individuals with in the area. This time they have teamed up with Mayor Cllr Faisal Rashid and the council to launch their search for the most gifted individuals residing here.

If your a performer, dancer, magician, fire beather,  acrobats, impressionists or have a talented pet get in touch. The competition is open to anyone of any age with any talent.

Up for grabs is a place in the final at the Parr Hall on Friday, February 24 and the chance to perform in front of the mayor and team of judges. All the shortlisted acts will take part in the grand finale where 50 per cent of the vote awarded by the audience and the other 50 per cent is carried by the judging panel.

Cllr Rashid said: “Warrington has so many talented people and this is the perfect opportunity to showcase, far and wide, everything we have to offer. We are on the lookout for incredible, inspiring and entertaining acts. If you’ve got a talent that you think will wow the judges, then we want to see it.”

Stage Pro Academy street dance crew Evolve, who have just competed in the UDO World Dance Championships in Glasgow, gave a special performance to launch the competition at the Town Hall on Tuesday.

Warrington Guardian editor Hayley Smith said: “Knowing how much talent there is in the town we are delighted to be supporting this event and look forward to seeing some of your fantastic entries.”
